Linda Lee's Story

Life I have been lucky enough to spend most of my life making a living at what I love doing which is musical entertaining. I sing, play keyboards, flute, alto flute, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, percussion instruments and dance. I live a few blocks from the Pacific Ocean in Costa Mesa, California. I enjoy a relaxed life style and like having free time to enjoy life and to meet people and make new friends. In my travels I have found that it "really is a small world", so I believe in treating people as you would like to be treated and that the "kharma" you create will eventually catch up with you, good or bad. I'm currently performing at night in restaurant lounges. I do all types of music "jazz, rock and roll, blues, disco, Latin, pop, standards, etc." I perform during the day in senior centers, etc., I teach private lessons and also run my own music recording studio. I am currently editing my promotional CD/DVD/VCR package and hope to be finished by my birthday, February 8th. I feel lucky to be alive and to have experienced all that I have in the short time I have been on this planet. I enjoy being with friends and family and look forward to a long and happy life filled with music and friends and love. School I really enjoyed school and especially all of the extracurricular music activities that I participated in. Although I was raised on a farm 8 miles east of Lee's Summi...Expand for more
t on 50 Highway, my parents managed to transport me to a multitude of music lessons and rehearsals during the years. I was not close enough to town to really have "best friends" or be "in a clique" but, I tried to be friendly with everyone, and as I was so involved with my music activities, I didn't have much time to "socialize" other than to try to be friendly towards others. I have fond memories of band and choir and also of having the lead part of "Fiona" in the high school muscial "Brigadoon" my sophomore year. I was a "national honor society" & "citizenship award winner" student, but still managed to have quite a bit of fun and got into my share of trouble. We had some crazy slumber parties, garage band parties and hayride/haybarn parties out at our farm over the years! I really enjoy reconnecting with people at the class reunions. I always have a blast! College What can I say. I majored in music and had a lot of fun although I did not even finish my freshman year. The dean did not like it much when my dormitory room burnt down, (I fell asleep during a late night study session with candles going and voila...burnt room). Things went downhill after that, and I left college, never to return...well maybe I might return someday...we'll have to see (I could do without the late night studying, but I'd hate to have to go without the candles!)
